Instrumentation / Controls Technician:
Valley Automation, Inc., a leader in technology-based solutions throughout the Shenandoah Valley and beyond is currently seeking applicants for an Instrumentation / Controls Technician.
Employment position is full time and includes a competitive salary and full benefits package.
Must be proficient with computers, Windows, and communications
Program PLC and HMI systems
Document panels and systems using AutoCAD
Design and build control panels to UL standards.
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC based control systems and HMI’s.
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial instrumentation.
Install and terminate I/O wiring, cables, fiber optics, and communications cabling.
Must be capable of working productively with minimal supervision
Must be capable of adjusting to customer’s scheduling needs
Need to have good communication skills.
2 year associates degree or equivalent preferred.

Required experience: Industrial Control / Maintenance Technician experience perfered: 2 years
